Long range fuel tank for your BYD Shark, great upgrade! Chose the Brown Davis, excellent. By our maths, the vehicle weight (excluding the extra fuel) goes up by only 5kg.  As the original tank and bash plate are 30kg, and the upgraded tank is 35kg (if our sources are correct).   The one thing that deleting the bash plate does, is expose the fuel lines and fuel filter.  This guard provides a first line of defense against the elements to these critical components.

Supplied with bolt which installs into existing threaded hole and zip tie to secure guard to fuel filter support bracket.  Re-uses existing fuel filter support bracket bolt.  Use the supplied washer inside this part of the guard before inserting the existing bolt.  Tighten to snug.
